  • All players must be registered with Netball4All
  • Up to 14 players may register in a team, with a maximum of 3 senior representative players allowed in any one team
  • Players may play more than 1 game per round, either as a fill-in or as a registered player
  • Teams must have at least 4 registered players playing in a game to receive winning points for that game
  • To start play, teams must field a minimum of 5 players. Teams have until the 2nd quarter to field a minimum of 5 players, with one goal lost every minute until game starts.
  • Fill-ins come with a 5 goal penalty per fill in player supplied. Netball4all, opposing team and umpires must be advised that fill ins are being used prior to the start of the game
  • Fill-ins cannot play in the circle. Fill ins can only play mid court positions
  • Junior players must be 14 years and over to participate in the Senior competition.
  • Games will consist of 4 x 9 minute quarters with a break of 1 minute between quarters and games. No injury time will be played.
  • Forteiting teams must pay a forfeit fee of $100 and this must be paid prior to the team's next game.
  • Forfeits are $100 for the first 2 forfeits and $200 for the 3rd forfeit. If a team forfeits 3 times, they lose their priority registration for the next competition
  • If your opposing team forfeits, your team will receive the 20 goal points & we will try to find a team for you to play against, if there is enough time and players available
  • Before the commencement of the final series a player must be a registered player and have played in the team on at least four (4) occasions. 
  • Mixed teams must have a minimum of 1 male and a maximum of 3 males on the court. There can only be one (1) male in each third of the court from a positional perspective.eg Shooter (GS or GA) and Mid-Court (WA, C or WD) and Defence (GK or GD).
  • A scorer should be supplied by each team, and scorers should sit at the table in the centre position on the sideline together. Scorers should not be changed during the game, if possible. If a person is not available at all to score, then the score sheet must be put at one of the goal ends for the GS or GK to score. The scoresheet will then remain at the same goal end for the remainder of the game, unless a scorer becomes available. Scorers should be aged 14 years and over.
  • Score sheets must be completed and players signed in full and returned to control at the end of each game. Incomplete score sheets may result in game points being lost.
  • Results of games are entered on the website. Teams have up to 3 weeks past that round to advise if there are any errors on the website. So please check your scores online.
  • Rules as per International Netball Federation 2018 edition
  • All players and umpires will abide by Netball4all Codes of Conduct.
  • Injury and blood policy will be adhered to as per above. Injuries must be written on the front of the score sheet.
  • Netball gloves are permitted and must be worn if nails are not short and round or as directed by a Netball4all official or umpire.
  • All players must be registered with Netball4all prior to playing their first game, to ensure that all players are covered for insurance.
  • Canvas shoes are not permitted to play in, proper sports shoes must be worn. You may be asked to leave the court if you are wearing canvas shoes, work shoes or any unsuitable footwear. This is entirely for your safety.
  • Abuse of umpires will not be tolerated. Offences of this nature could see a team lose points or be expelled from the competition.
  • Team captains to ensure that players are aware of all of the policies and procedures involved in participating in a Netball4All Ryde Indoor Social Netball Competition.

UMPIRES
Netball4all is always looking for umpires to assist with their games. Umpires are paid $25 for badged and $20 for unbadged. We can give you one or two games each night, we'll mentor you and we supply shirts & hoodies to our regular umpires. Come and join our umpire family !

About us

Netball 4 All have been running competitions since 2005, and we have enjoyed many games and seasons.  We encourage both ladies and men to come and play, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned player as we can have up to 4 divisions for each competition.

The many types of players that we have include:

  • Beginners who wish to learn how to play netball at our free clinics
  • Players who have not played for years, and want to come back and play netball again
  • Players who have moved to Sydney and want to both play netball and meet friends 
  • People who want to get fit and meet like-minded people
  • Players who don't want to train, or wear a uniform
  • Experienced Players who just love playing netball throughout the year
